Frequently asked questions.
What is the process after I fill in contact form?
Screen: I will contact you within 24 hours, we have a brief call or email to discuss your condition and screen to ensure physical therapy is right for you. We set a time, date and location for initial evaluation. I can answer any questions you have.
Evaluate: I come to your home, set up a table and evaluate you as if you’re in a clinic. Then followed by hands-on treatment based on initial findings. We discuss your condition, educate you so you understand that condition, discuss the plan of care and a time frame that works for you. This is where we confirm the amount of treatments and payment. Some conditions may take 1-4 treatments others may take 6-12 depending on the type of condition. We will recommend best frequency based on your goals, however it is always up to you to determine how many treatments you want or need, not the insurance company.
Documentation: After evaluation and treatments we document every encounter in order to track progress.
Additional value to your plan of care: You will have a home exercise program from Medbridge that provides interactive videos to demonstrate exercises for no additional costs.

How does Mobile Physical Therapy differ from traditional physical therapy?
Vital Rehab Physical Therapy offers the convenience of receiving treatment at your preferred location, saving you time and effort. It also provides individualized attention, as you have the therapist's undivided focus during the entire session. We also bring high level hands-on skills and expertise that are not found in home health, and the majority of times not found in outpatient physical therapy. You will always be treated by a licensed physical therapist that specializes in hands-on therapy for that full therapeutic experience we aim to provide.
What conditions or injuries do you treat?
We treat various conditions like back pain, pre and post joint replacements, sports injuries, sprains, strains, balance, chronic pain, strengthening for functional mobility in the elderly, and post-operative recovery can be effectively treated through Vital Rehab Physical Therapy. We also have maintenance programs with the frequency you choose to maintain where therapy left off.

We can work with referrals, absolutely, however, in most cases, a doctor's referral or prescription is not required. We are direct access physical therapy which means you can set up appointments and be treated without any referrals.
Do you take insurance?
Due to declining reimbursement rates year after year for physical therapy, more and more PT clinics and other related services are taking the value away from you resulting in much less quality treatments and decreased 1 on 1 hand-on attention with a license physical therapist. This is what Vital Rehab aims to extinguish. We value our clients and believe they deserve to receive the best physical Therapy out there delivered to their door. We do not except insurance as we are a direct pay service.

On average, a physical therapy session lasts around 60 minutes. However, session lengths can be tailored to meet individual needs and preferences.
What equipment is needed for your physical therapy sessions?
Most physical therapy sessions do not require specialized equipment. However, your therapist will have a table to perform manual therapy with you that they will set up in a comfortable open space in your home and may bring tools/supplies such as resistance bands, weights, or therapeutic modalities as necessary for your treatment plan.
